Here is a checklist of VA Documentation Requirements:
For all transactions:
1. Past 30 days paystubs
2. Past 2 years W2s
3. 2 months bank statments, all pages
4. Most recent quarterly statement for investment accounts, all pages
5. Copy of driver's license and social security card
6. DD214 or, if active duty, letter from your commanding offficer stating your rank and that you are in service and in good standing.
7. Homeowner's insurance contact information
For Refinances:
1. Copy of mortgage NOTE
2. Copy of settlement statement from your last mortgage closing
3. Recent mortgage statement
For Home Purchases:
1. Sales Contract
If Self-Employed:
1. Past 2 years tax returns, business and personal, all pages
2. Business license and/or articles of incorporation or organization
